I Am Here.
I am here.
I am here for you.
I was there when you were begging for help.
I was there when you were crying don’t let daddy kill your mommy.
I was there walking you through CPR for your father.
I was there when you had no one else to talk to.
I was there when you loaded your gun.
I was there when you took your last breath.
I am here.
I am here for you.
You never see my face.
You only hear my voice of reason.
I was there when you lost your 2-year-old out the back gate.
I was there for you for your first winter accident and you flipped your car.
You’d just turned 16 the week prior.
I was there when the drunk driver hit you and you lost your husband of 50 years.
I was there when you witnessed a car hit a man cutting him in two.
I am here.
I am here for you no matter what.
I was there when your ex-husband broke-in and you were hiding in the closet.
I was there when you were nearly beaten to death.
I was there listening to your screams as you tried to cut the noose off your son’s neck.
I was there hearing the shots.
I was there hearing you terrified.
I was there hearing the first screams from you as you found out your child is
dead.
I was there…..
I am here.
I am here for you.
I am always here.
Day or Night I am here.
I am here even though you never see my face.
I am here.
I remember .
I remember your name.
I remember your address.
I remember your words.
I remember your screams.
I remember each and every one of you.
I have never seen your face.
I have only heard your voice.
I drive by every day the tree that took your life.
I still feel your pain.
I feel your pain when I close my eyes weeks later.
I remember every detail.
I feel dark and heavy from your calls.
I feel hopeless.
I feel helpless wishing I could do more.
I am here.
I am still here for you.
I will be here.
I will be here for you.
I will be here no matter what.
I am your dispatcher.
